Lovely Fishing Villages

Description:
Enjoy a day out with us visiting the Costa Blanca and two of its most charming fishing villages; Altea & Villajoyosa.

Starting from different points along the coast, we will start our visit going to Villajoyosa, or La Vila as the locals call it.

We will see its beautiful coloured houses, old historical city centre and sea promenade, places that will tell us many stories about the past of this charming place and corners where we will take very fine pictures.

After this we will visit a chocolate factory. Chocolate industry has been in La Vila for over 150 years, so it is part of its past and present and it is a nice place to try the local chocolate and see how they make it.

We will carry on to our second stop; Altea, also called “The jewel of the Mediterranean”.

We will stop for a bite to eat before visiting the village. Lunch is not included in the price of this tour. See a note down below for lunch options.

Altea is a place that seems as if it were taken from an old Spanish fishing-tale; white houses with colourful flowers on their façades, iron-works on their windows, cobbled streets, winding alleys.. best thing to do in this place is to get lost through its small streets and enjoy the lovely corners and the magnificent views of the sea and the mountains, have a little drink sitting on a nice terrace, go to one of the arts&crafts local shops from the local artists, etc.

When we get there, we will walk up to the main square and will take a stroll around the village. It is all pedestrian, so please be aware of the steep hills of Altea.

After this, we will come back to the starting point in the afternoon.

After this full day of nice and interesting experiences, you will have the feeling of knowing Alicante a little bit more.
